— Paul Klee

A little about me

01.

I’m elise

From Seattle, I am mother to four, a photographer, writer, climber, divorcee, and dabbler in too many hobbies to mention.

Relationship to home

Home isn't your house, it is you. But your dwelling does reflect parts of you, and the time you spend there is precious. The nurturing, the eating, the cleaning, the laughing, the crying. This is where your life happens.

03.

Photography

The majority of my adult life has been devoted to the unseen acts of caring for my family. Photography is how I honor these mundane but meaningful moments, transforming them from chores to art.

Interesting Fact

As a teenager, I spent a year abroad in Germany and still speak with limited fluency. I hope to be able to spend more time travelling for art, writing, and climbing.
